Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at SÖPÖSÖPÖ. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Important Note for International Shipping

We have successfully shipped hundreds of thousands of items. Many orders for Finnish and Nordic products are coming from overseas, and we have years of experience handling international shipments. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind for overseas shipping:

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Shipment Method Estimated Delivery Time
Economy Shipping (Tracking) 10-20 business days
Standard Shipping (with tracking) 7-12 business days
Express Shipping (Summer Time Cold Packing) 3-5 business days

The items are sent from Finland.

For Economy Shipping, we use Postal service. For Standard and Expedited Shipping, we use reliable international shipping carriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, or GLS.

Business days don't count weekends and holidays.

We prepare all orders as fast as possible; however, once the package has been sent, delivery time depends on the delivery service and customs processing in your country, and we cannot take any subsequent action in the transportation and delivery process after shipping.

Important Address Information

As we are shipping internationally, there are many instances where packages are returned to Finland due to incorrect address information. To ensure smooth delivery, please double-check that your name, country, postal code, full address, and room number (if applicable) are correct when placing your order.

We recommend not using P.O. Boxes for international shipments, as it can delay or prevent delivery, especially for expedited shipping that requires a signature upon receipt.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number or numbers if applicable. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Customs fees and taxes may be applied to packages sent from Finland to your country. We have no control over whether the fees are applied or not. As customs policies can change frequently, please check with your country's authority on imports.

All fees, taxes, and customs procedures are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient.

Please do not blame us or ask us to pay your tax because it's your responsibility.

Damages

It is very rare, but if the order should arrive to you damaged, please contact us right away and do not throw away the item or the packaging.
